QUINCY, IL (April 19, 2013) – The much anticipated Clash for Cash featuring the Super Late Models of the MARS/CornBelt Clash/ALMS Series is a big GO for this weekend at Burlington, Iowa’s 34 Raceway and Quincy Raceways on Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21. Mother Nature did her best to bring the events to a halt this past week but both tracks are working hard to prepare their facilities for this huge event. Flooding has been a problem in the tri-state area but with some minor detours getting to either track should not be much of an issue. The older MemorialBridge in Quincy has been closed from Missouri to Quincy but east bound traffic has been rerouted to the newer BayviewBridge so that there should be no problems getting to Quincy from Missouri or Iowa.

A huge field of top quality drivers and cars are expected with some very familiar names coming to town for these events including Tyler “California Kid” Reddick, Kevin Weaver, Jason Feger, Brian Shirley, Jessie Stovall, Terry Phillips, Chris and Chad Simpson, Ray Guss Jr. and a whole host of others.

The Clash for Cash at 34 Raceway will pay $4000 to win and $300 to start the main event while at Quincy, the top prize will be $3000 to win and $400 to start the main event. On Saturday April 20, the 34 Raceway’s Pit Gates open at 4:00, Grandstands at 5:00, Hot Laps at 6:30 with Racing to follow. At Quincy on Sunday April 21 the Pit Gates will open at 2:30, Grandstands at 4:00, Hot Laps at 5:45 with Qualifying and Racing to follow.
