Quad City Speedway Washed Out

EAST MOLINE, IL (May 19, 2013) – Mother Nature won at the Quad City Speedway with a torrential downpour right before the final 4-Cylinder heat race was about to take the green flag. Grandstand tickets and pit passes will be honored on Sunday, June 2nd. This coming Sunday, May 26th, the Quad City Speedway will host the 20th Annual Gary Reinhart Memorial, presented by The Truck Doctor, headlined by a 30 lap UMP Modified feature paying $2,000 to the winner and $125 to start the feature. Thanks to these great local sponsors, The Truck Doctor, A. Fry Constructions, Leffler Construction, Black Tie Flooring & Janitorial Services, Stooges’ Saloon, Volvo Rents, and Adam Oppendike Trucking & Excavating, this race was made possible. Also racing will be the Eriksen Chevrolet Buick IMCA Late Models, U-Pull-A-Part/Cimco IMCA Modifieds, Weber Auto Group Street Stocks, and the McDonald’s Mod Lites. The 4-Cylinders and Toppert Services Figure 8’s will not be racing on Sunday, May 26th. Admission prices for Sunday, May 26th, will be $12 for adults, $13 for reserved seating, $5 for kids 6 to 12, and free for kids 5 & under. Pit passes will be $25 and the UMP Modifieds will have a $25 entry fee in addition to their pit pass. Racing begins at 5:30pm with the UMP Modified Mr. Fix It Time Trials.
