IMCA, DirtCast.com announce new marketing venture
VINTON, Iowa (May 7) – A new marketing relationship between IMCA and DirtCast.com will benefit drivers, local sponsors and race fans.
The website features audio interviews with drivers in all divisions from around the country. While not exclusive to any sanctioning body, IMCA competitors are a large part of that electronic content.
“What we want to accomplish with this new relationship is getting increased exposure for our drivers and their sponsors,” explained IMCA Vice President of Operations Brett Root. “That exposure provides an important connection with fans listening at home.”
“We support DirtCast.com,” he added, because we feel it is an asset and an important part of our online marketing.”
DirtCast.com traces its origins to 2003 as a live internet call-in show. It evolved to the on-demand format in 2008 and changed its name to DirtCast.com in 2009.
Most recently, fans have turned in to interviews with IMCA drivers Adam Armstrong, Drew Alexander, Jeff Taylor and Jay Noteboom.
“Dave Seay is the voice of DirtCast.com. He is very knowledgeable and has considerable experience in the dirt track racing industry,” Root said. “It’s great to have someone as talented and ambitious as Dave behind this website. The experience he provides our racers, our tracks and our events is invaluable.”
“Utilizing this partnership with DirtCast is the first step in a long term strategy at IMCA to be a standout in new media” added IMCA’s Digital Media Director Barry Braun. “Seay has led the way with nationwide, unbiased reporting of all classes and sanctions of dirt track racing for over five years. We will continue to connect drivers with DirtCast and properly promote them through our media channels. It is a huge opportunity for our drivers, team, sponsors and fans to benefit on a national platform.”
