Randolph County Raceway 2014 Schedule release:
Moberly, Mo. (Feb 16th 2014) Officials with Randolph County Raceway are pleased to announce our 2014 Schedule. Upon completion of our first season we were very pleased with the outcome and have looked forward to getting this second season underway. Many improvements were made to the facility last season which made it better for fans and drivers and we will continue to make improvements throughout this season.
This season fans will again see the return of USRA sanctioned Modifieds and B-Modified classes along with ULMA sanctioned Late Models, RCR Hobby Stocks and RCR Sport 4 Cyls as these classes compete weekly towards their season championships.
There will be 13 weekly championship series events along with 5 special events slated for 2014 season. The season will start in April with practice weekends set for April 12th, 19th, 26th. Weekly Championship Racing will start May 10th and will conclude on Aug 31st .
2014 will again see the return of the Monster Truck Summer Nationals on May 2nd & 3rd which will kick off our racing season. Other special events slated for this season will include the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling on May 23rd & 24th.
ASCS Sprint cars and W.A.R. Wingless Sprints will headline our July 5th Special Event weekend. ULMA Late Models will also be on hand completing their 3rd consecutive and final night of the ULMA Triple Crown Shootout which will crown their Triple Crown Champion on this night. RCR Hobby Stocks will be on hand as the support class. After the races there will be a fireworks display for all to enjoy.
The final event of the season will see ASCS Sprint Cars return Aug 30th & 31st for the season finally. USRA b-mods, RCR Hobby Stocks and Sport 4cyls will be apart of the Saturday night program, and on Sunday along with the ASCS Sprints the ULMA Late Models and RCR Hobby Stocks will take to the track for the final night of races.
Officials with RCR are still looking at other venues that we can add to this season. Details regarding Special events ticket information will be released in the coming months.
