WAR kicks off third season on Saturday
California, MO (March 26, 2014) – The 3rd year of racing with the WAR Sprint Series presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps kicks off this Saturday at the Lebanon-Midway Speedway in Lebanon, MO.
WAR will participate in the Spring Fling for the second year in a row. This year, they will participate in the second night of the two day show.
“We’re looking forward to getting the season kicked off. There should be some good wheel to wheel racing. We always look forward to racing at Midway and the weather sounds like it’s going to be great.” said series director Andrew Korte.
Mitchell Moore enters the 2014 season as the defending WAR champion. The all-time feature winner for WAR will look to duplicate his performance of 2014 when he started off the season with a feature win.
Before the season opener, WAR officials will be busy as they head to Springfield on Friday and Saturday to take part in the 3rd Annual Man Show at the Springfield Expo Center. They will be on hand to promote the WAR series and this season’s races at Lebanon-Midway and Springfield Raceway. There will be tickets given away as well as rides in the WAR sprint car simulator.
Directions to Lebanon-Midway Speedway–
From Lebanon, Midway Speedway is located six miles east on Highway 32 and then right on State Highway B. The speedway is located a half-mile down Highway B on the right side.
