Jason Meyers Adds Name To Star Studded Knoxville Lineup LIVE On TheCushion.Com Saturday
PETERSEN MEDIA: (May 16, 2014) – In what has already been a very competitive start to the 2014 Knoxville Championship Cup season, this Saturday’s even looks to be even better as Two-Time World of Outlaw Champion, Jason Meyers has announced he will be in action to take on the already star studded field.
Making his first trip to the Knoxville Raceway this year, Meyers will team up with the C&H Motorsports No. 83 team and begin tuning for the 2014 Knoxville Nationals along with crew-chief, Brian Bloomfield.
Over the last two weeks, Brian Brown has been the man to beat the famed speedway, and he looks to notch another win at the speedway and make it three-in-a-row. Brown has also announced that he will also be in action in his 360ci machine, so ‘Brownie’ will look to make it four wins in three nights, LIVE on TheCushion.Com.
Other drivers that will be in action in the 410ci division will be point leader, Terry McCarl, opening night winner, Ian Madsen, Justin Henderson, Bronson Maeschen, Dusty Zomer, Craig Dollansky, and many more drivers.
Joe Beaver has been the man to beat in 360 ranks, and like Brown, Beaver won his second feature in-a-row last weekend, and his third overall. Having one of his best season to dates, Beaver will return to action on Saturday night looking ofr his fourth win, and will look to take over the point lead.
Jon Agan continues to lead the 360 KCC Point Standings, and he will look to end Beaver’s streak, and pick up a win himself. Others likely to be in action Saturday night LIVE on TheCushion.com are Jonathan Cornell, Russ Hall, Nate Van Haaften, Jamie Ball, Billy Alley and many more.
Joining the 360ci and 410ci sprint cars LIVE on TheCushion.Com Saturday night will be the 305ci sprint cars. Matthew Stelzer won his second race of the season last weekend, but Steve Breazeale leads the standings, and will look to extend his lead on Saturday night. J Kinder, Stacey Alexander, Kevin Hetrick, and other drivers will look to park their machines in victory lane with this competitive class.
