ALS NIGHT AT MARSHALLTOWN ADDS $3,000 TO THE PURSE JULY 19th.

Marshalltown, IA (June 12th, 2013) – The night after the Harris Clash at the famed Knoxville Raceway will be the annual ALS Night at the Marshalltown Speedway. Racers against ALS Night helps to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds to help families in need. On this special night, the IMCA Modifieds will be racing for $600 to win and $100 to start the feature, $500 to win for IMCA Stock Cars, $400 to win for IMCA SportMods, and $300 to win for IMCA Hobby Stocks. Also on the card that night will be the Mod Lites.

Each position in all IMCA classes has been raised from at least $20 to $ 250 courtesy of Racers Against ALS. Former Iowa Hawkeye Brad Banks will be on hand to greet the racing fans, sign autographs, and help increase awareness about ALS. 

At the conclusion of the night, there will be free beer and Cookies Pulled Pork sandwiches with a free will donation going towards Racers Against ALS.  For further information refer to www.marshalltownspeedway.com or call 515.432.4703.
