WINSTON, MO (July 20, 2024) – Another Saturday night is in the books for I-35 Speedway, and it was as eventful, and action packed as ever. Sprint cars made their return to the track, both the IMCA Race Saver series and the Midwest Lightning Sprints (MLS). Ken Billings stole the MLS race when Jeff Bard suffered mechanical problems coming to two laps to go. Mitchell Moore dominated the IMCA Race Saver series in both his heat and the feature.

USRA Medieval USRA Stock Cars had a makeup feature for the rain canceled race from June 22, with Chris Dishong dominating from the start. He was unable to sweep both USRA Medieval Stock Car features due to mechanical issues he faced in the heat and feature. Kristchon Hisel was the winner of the second feature holding off Nic Hanes early and Doug Keller late.

Points leader in the USRA Modifieds at I-35 Speedway, Tyler Hibner, was able to hold off Houston Johnson, who is second in points at I-35 Speedway and nationally! In the USRA B-Mods Adam Dunwoodie held on to win after Tyler Cadwallader went for it all in turn one of the last lap and couldn’t hold on.

Mich Ross was a surprise competitor at I-35 Speedway, and as a former champion, he definitely knows his way to the Molle Auto Group victory lane. He held off Jakub Hisel to win the Pure Stock feature.

Mark Dotson dominated once again in the Late Models, leading flag to flag. Tony Layne is 2-0 since making his return in the E Mods, holding off Kameron Hanes in the final few laps. Mechanical issues ended the night early for Grant Sheetz in Jr. Sport Compacts, with Emma Mather capitalizing on his misfortune to win her second feature of the year. Brad Mick held off Jeremy Sims to win the Sport Compacts in our last race of the night.

Thank you all for joining us for another night of racing and we will see you all next week, July 27, 2024 (double features for the USRA Modifieds and Sport Compacts)!
