WINSTON, MO (June 29, 2024) – Another Saturday night of action is behind us at I-35 with several familiar faces in a familiar place to them, Molle Auto Group victory lane. Before getting to this week’s features, we had two make up features for the Open Vintage and Midwest Limited Late Model classes where Ron Leflohlz and Mark Dotson took home the respective victories. Tyler Hibner had car trouble in the makeup Late Model feature, and was not able to make the main feature, allowing Dotson to dominate again and complete the nights sweep. Ron Leflohlz also swept Open Vintage features.

In the USRA Modified class Tyler Hibner’s streak of tough luck continued after dominating the race but being passed for the win on the last restart by Houston Johnson. In the B Mods Lucas Isaacs won his second feature of the season and held off a late charging Adam Dunwoodie. Former track champion Casey Burnett beat current points leader Kameron Hanes in a late battle to take home the E Mod feature victory.

For the Pure Stock Division Conrad Kauffman and Jeff Goepferich Jr. split laps led in the feature, with Goepferich the pole sitter at the point for the first half and Kauffman on top for the most important half, the finish. It was business as usual in the Medieval USRA Stock Cars as Nic Hanes continued his dominant season, but had some serious competition from Kristchon Hisel, Jason Estes, and Doug Keller to take home the victory.

In our Sports Compact series Brad Mick got over a self-claimed slump and took home the checkered flag. A five-car incident on the first lap of the Sport Compact heat took out Hunter Throckmorton for the night and sent Jason Teel and Johnathan Hartman to the back to start the feature. Grant Sheetz has won every race he’s started in the Jr. Sport Compacts this year, and that continued last night. However, each week the field seems to hang a little closer to him, particularly points leader Emma Mather, who is the only other driver to win in that class this year.

Thank you to fans, drivers, officials, staff, and all our sponsors for helping us put on a great show every week, we couldn’t do it without all of you. Full results posted below, and we will see you all next week!
