CJ Speedway Season Opener Falls To Rain
Columbus Junction, Iowa: The 2022 racing season at the CJ Speedway in Columbus Junction will have to wait another week as rains moved in overnight Thursday and continued into Friday forcing the officials of the CJ Speedway to cancel the season opener slated for Friday, April 22nd. The Season opener for the 5 classes of cars slated to race on Friday nights will now be Friday, April 29th. The racing action on the Louisa County Fairgrounds in Columbus Junction will get underway at 7 pm with hot laps and racing will follow.
