Davenport Speedway 2018 season begins with REBEL 5K this Friday
DAVENPORT, Ia. (April 8, 2018) – The Davenport Speedway will roar back to life with the
REBEL 5K on Friday, April 13th. The opening event of the 2018 season is highlighted by the Deery Brothers Summer Series for IMCA Late Models.
The Late Models will be racing for a top prize of $5,000-to-win. The REBEL 5K will be the first appearance of the Deery Brothers Summer Series at the Davenport Speedway since 2014.
Also racing at the REBEL 5K will be Modifieds, Street Stocks, and SportMods. All racing will be on the quarter-mile dirt oval.
All support classes will be using a draw/re-draw format. The Deery Brothers Late Models will be using a new passing points system to help determine the starting line-up for the feature.
Tickets for the REBEL 5K are $20 for adults, students and seniors $18, and children 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.
The open practice session originally scheduled for April 6th, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 10th.
