WHEATLAND, MO (March 11th, 2014) – With just under a month remaining in the off-season for the Lucas Oil MLRA, another cog has fallen into place. One of the leading Dirt Late Model news sources, DirtOnDirt.com has signed on to present the DirtOnDirt.com Pole Award at each stop along the 2014 tour. Each pole sitter will receive a gift basket courtesy of DirtOnDirt.com and the driver who qualifies up front the most will receive a $500 award at the season ending championship banquet.

Over the past few years, we’ve tried to spread our reach and get involved with a few of the regional tours from across the country,” said DirtOnDirt.com CEO Michael Rigsby. “It was certainly exciting to see Lucas Oil step up to the plate and add a regional tour under their umbrella. They added to a quality series, so when the opportunity came to partner with them this year, it was a no-brainer for us.”

“We are very excited to welcome DirtonDirt.com to the MLRA this season in a sponsorship role” stated MLRA Series Director Dan Robinson. “They are the number one online media outlet dedicated to Dirt Late Model coverage and we are proud to have them join our team. The DirtonDirt.com Pole Award is another positive step forward in our systematic approach to offering great incentives for the drivers that attend our races and follow our tour.”

In addition to the awards, fans will be able to keep up with the pole winners from each race through a special page on the series website, www.MLRARacing.com. DirtOnDirt.com launched in September of 2007 and has revolutionized the way the sport of Dirt Late Model Racing is covered.
