Dugan Thye gets first modified win at 34
Ryan Jamison Flies to Popular Sprint Invaders Win at 34 Raceway.
BURLINGTON, IA (8-20-16) – Its come down to one more week of point race action at 34 Raceway and in three of the four classes it will be a battle to the finish following Saturday night’s action.
Ryan Jamison, Mediapolis, picked up the Shottenkirk Sprint Invaders 25 lap feature win. Dugan Thye, Burlington, won his first ever IMCA Modified feature while Ron Kibbe (4 cylinders), Danville, Joey Gower (sport mods), Quincy, Il., and Jake Wenig (stock cars), Burlington all made return trips to victory lane.
Coming up: 34 Raceway 2016 Track Champions will be crowned this week, Saturday, August 27 on $5.00 Fan Appreciation/Pepsi Season Championship night with racing in all seven classes. Mod Lites, 305 Sprints, IMRA Midgets and 4 Cylinders will be competing in heat and feature races while the IMCA divisions of the sport mods, modifieds and stock cars will be running features only. A drivers autograph session will be held during intermission on the track so bring the kids, bring the whole family. $5 grandstand admission for ages 11 and up and remember kids 10 and under are admitted free.
