Knoxville, Iowa (July 15, 2018) – The fourth running of the Marion County Fair Outlaw Dirt Karts presented by Iowa State Savings Bank was held on Sunday night at Knoxville Raceway in conjunction with the English Creek Speedway. A different track was constructed this year in the infield as compared to previous years at this historic facility. The Knoxville Raceway Track Prep crew constructed a special 1/10 mile oval in what is known as the “work area” for sprint car events.  There were 62 entrants here to race, some coming as far away as Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota and Texas. Five classes competed for a chance to put their names in the Knoxville Raceway record books.

Most of the race teams in attendance compete weekly at the English Creek Speedway located approximately 10 miles south of Knoxville which races every Friday night and will host the 13th Annual Outlaw DIRT KART Nationals on Monday and Tuesday August 6-7.
