I-35 Speedway Kickoff

 

WINSTON, MO (April 1, 2013) – I-35 Speedway practice is scheduled for Thursday, April 4th with gates opening at 5:00 pm.  The weather is starting to improve; everyone is ready for “Dirt Trackin’ at its Best”.  Spectators get in free for practice so we invite you to come see the best drivers handle the exciting 3/8 mile dirt track.  Trackside Bar and Grill along with concessions will be open for your dining convenience.
 
I-35 Speedway season opener will be Saturday, April 6th with Pit Gates opening at 4:30 pm, Grandstands open at 5:00 pm, Driver’s Meeting at 6:00 pm, Hot Laps at 6:30 pm, and Racing like no other at 7:00 pm. General admission for adults $12.00, Seniors (62 and over) $10.00, Kids (7-12) $6.00, kids 6 and under free with Pit Passes costing $28.00. 

The weatherman is predicting temperatures in the upper sixties with a light wind as the cars pass the flag stand at a high rate of speed.  Come all and see if Track Champions from the past can repeat or if new faces rise to the top.  Pick out your favorite car and driver and cheer them on as we kick off what promises to be a great racing season. 

Mike and Kyle Johnson strive to make I-35 Speedway the premier dirt track for drivers, pit crews, and spectators with continual improvements and upgrades.  We look forward to seeing all there.  Let the racing season begin!
