Iowa State Fairgrounds to host first of four consecutive Frostbusters
DES MOINES, Iowa (March 29) – The first of four consecutive Frostbuster specials will be held Thursday, April 4 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds Speedway in Des Moines.
IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modified features will also pay $1,000 to win at season-opening Frostbusters on Friday, April 5 at Marshalltown Speedway; Saturday, April 6 at Boone Speedway; and Sunday, April 7 at Benton County Speedway in Vinton.
Each Modified event is a qualifier for the 2013 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot. Temperatures forecast as high as the mid-50s this weekend will help considerably in getting the track surface at all four facilities race-ready.

IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing national, regional and Allstar Performance Iowa state points will be given at all four shows.
Entry fees each night are $30 for Modifieds, $25 for Stock Cars and $20 for SportMods and for Hobby Stocks. Pit passes are $25.
