It’s time for IMCA Modified Madness at the Davenport Speedway

DAVENPORT, Ia. (May 22, 2013) – $2,000 awaits the winner of this Friday’s (May 24th) IMCA Modified Madness 50 at the Davenport Speedway.  This is the third straight year DRT TRAK Racing Inc., has offered the two grand prize to the modified class.

The IMCA Modifieds will use a draw/redraw format for the event. All racing will be on the quarter-mile dirt oval.

Brian Webb of Davenport, captured the Modified Madness 50 in 2011, and Milo Veloz Jr. of Colona took home the top prize last year.

Also racing will be the Petersen Plumbing & Heating IMCA Late Models, Koehler Electric Street Stocks, Hawkeye Auto IMCA SportMods, and Roto-Rooter 4-Stocks, competing for weekly track points.

The Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, on West Locust Street in Davenport, Iowa. Pit gates will open Friday at 4:30pm, the grandstand at 5:00pm, with hotlaps at 6:30 and racing at 7:00pm.
