Josh Schneiderman – Let’s Catch Up

| June 8, 2019

Dallas, TX (June 6, 2019) – Josh Schneiderman and the Deuce Motorsports team are off to a strong start to their season, which has included laps led and strong finishes at the Knoxville Raceway between the weekends won by Mother Nature. This weekend will be a busy one for “The Professor,” as he’ll head to Lee County Speedway Friday night to do battle with the MOWA series, before the typical Saturday night action at Knoxville Raceway!

One of the biggest highlights of the year thus far has been the improvements the team has made in qualifying. “We made some changes to our program and we’ve qualified pretty well so far this year,” said Josh. “It’s something we struggled with through most of last season and when you don’t time well, it really throws you off for the whole night, so it has been great to not be putting ourselves behind the eight ball.”

Last Saturday saw Schneiderman and the Deuce Motorsports team just miss out on a top ten, coming home 11th. “Last Saturday, we weren’t too good in the feature,” said Josh. “All of the rain this year has made the track kind of funky and quite a bit different than what we’re used to. We lost a few spots early and never quite recovered.”

While last weekend’s main event didn’t quite go to plan, the last completed night of action (though it was now over a month ago) at Knoxville was one of the best Josh has had in quite some time in the World of Wheels/Land Pride #49. “We led more laps that night than we did all of last year,” said Schneiderman. “We were really strong that night and I really feel like we have everything trending in the right direction!”

Currently sitting 9th in the 410 point standings at Knoxville, Josh will be back in action on Saturday trying to pick off some spots, though he’s looking to finally cash in at a track a bit closer to home on Friday. “We’re heading to Lee County to run with MOWA on Friday,” said Josh. “I’ve led a lot of laps there, but have never been able to lead the most important one, so hopefully we can change that tomorrow.”

For all fans of “The Professor,” be on the lookout for the new shirts showcasing the retro design coming soon in black, white, and gray. “Design is finalized and shirts have been ordered, so hopefully we’ll have them at the track soon!”
