Kinderknecht Connects with Inaugural NCRA Mod-Lite Victory!

Grain Valley, Missouri – June 21, 2013 – Justin Kinderknecht from Salina, Kansas started on the front row and then led every lap and became the itched his name in the series history books as he won the first ever National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products sanctioned mod-lite event Saturday night at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri.

Kinderknecht started on the front row for the twenty lap feature and while he led every lap, he had to hold off a late race charge from David Raffurty to claim the $500 feature victory. Rafferty, Dillion Raffurty, and Brandon Gray all battled for the second through fifth positions throughout the event before David Raffurty took over the runner-up position for good in the closing laps.

Dillion Raffurty held on for third with Jeff Raffurty and Gray rounding out the top five.

The eight lap heat races winners for the fifteen car field were won by Tyler Bradshaw and Kinderknecht.

The next event for the NCRA mod-lite division will take place this coming Sunday night, June 30, at 81 Speedway in Park City where start time is slated for 6:00 PM.

Each mod-lite event will pay $500 to win and $100 to start the feature finale with the Bilstein Modified Lite STARS providing more than $2000 worth on contingency for each race. As we go to press there are currently six races slated covering three states at four different venues on the 2013 race schedule.
