Lee County’s Friday Spring Extravaganza show canceled

DONNELLSON, Iowa (March 25) – What was to have been opening night of the Spring Extravaganza at Lee County Speedway and the first IMCA sanctioned event of the season in Iowa has been canceled.

Track conditions forced cancellation of the Friday program at Donnellson. A practice session runs from 3-5 p.m. with racing at 6 p.m. Saturday

Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods chase $1,000 top checks while IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks run for $500 to win and Mach-1 Sport Compacts for $300 in their draw/redraw show.

The Modified feature is a 2016 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot qualifier. IMCA Speedway Motors Weekly Racing National, regional and Allstar Performance State points will be awarded.
