Lucas Oil MLRA northern swing visits Dubuque Saturday
MAQUOKETA, Ia. (June 13, 2019) – The Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series will make their first ever visit to the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway this Saturday, June 15th.
The Lucas Oil MLRA series is in its thirty-first season. The series will compete in six Midwestern states in 2019. The current northern swing includes Beaver Dam Raceway in Wisconsin on Friday, and the Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday.
Through the first nine events of 2019, Will Vaught of Crane, Missouri is the current point leader. Chad Simpson of Mt. Vernon, Iowa is the defending series champion.
The late models will be joined on the track by Modifieds, Stock Cars, SportMods, and the American Iron Racing Series. There is no entry fee for the support classes.
The pit gate opens at 4pm, the grandstand at 5pm, hotlaps are at 6:30pm, with racing to follow.
Tickets for the Lucas Oil MLRA race are $20 for adults, students and seniors $18, and children 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.
