West Liberty Raceway next for touring series

MAQUOKETA, Ia. (May 2, 2019) – The same rains that helped to produce record flooding on the Mississippi River, has washed out the Lucas Oil MLRA Series event scheduled for Friday at the Davenport Speedway. Heavy rain throughout the week has made track preparation for the Short Track Challenge an impossible task.

The next event for DRT TRAK Racing and the Lucas Oil MLRA series is set for Saturday, May 4th at West Liberty Raceway. The late models will be joined on the track by Modifieds, Stock Cars, SportMods, and the American Iron Racing Series.

The pit gate opens at 4pm, the grandstand at 5pm, hotlaps are at 6:30pm, with racing to follow.

Tickets for the Lucas Oil MLRA race are $20 for adults, students and seniors $18, and children 12 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.

The West Liberty Raceway is located at the Muscatine County Fairgrounds, in West Liberty, Iowa. For more information, visit our website “DrtTrakRacing.com”, or call (563) 652-5302.
