Lucas Oil Speedway’s Diamond Nationals Rained Out
WHEATLAND, Mo. (July 13, 2024) – Saturday’s 18th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals Presented by Summit Racing Equipment, at Lucas Oil Speedway, has been rained out.
Unexpected morning thunderstorms that produced heavy rain, and the forecast for rain continuing throughout the early afternoon with mostly cloudy skies wouldn’t allow sufficient time for crews to prepare the track for competition.
The event will not be rescheduled. Fans who purchased tickets in advance will automatically be refunded.
The Series is bound for Nebraska’s Eagle Raceway on Monday, July 15, before returning to the Hawkeye State on Tuesday, July 16, for a stop at Shelby County Speedway. Both tracks are new to the circuit.
Monday’s 40-lap Malvern Bank High Bank Heist at Eagle Raceway boasts a $10,000 grand prize. Shelby County Speedway pays tribute to the Kosiski Family, founders of the Silver Dollar Nationals, on Tuesday with a 53-lap, $10,053 to win feature event.
