MACON SPEEDWAY SET FOR 2 BIG NIGHTS THIS WEEKEND

RAMINATOR MONSTER TRUCK VISITS MACON SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY

NASCAR NIGHT OF STARS WITH ALLGAIER, WALLACE & SCHRADER MONDAY

MACON, IL May 22, 2012) – Macon Speedway will be racing both Saturday and Monday nights this Memorial Day weekend with 2 very special shows. Join us at the track as we welcome the monster truck “Raminator” to Macon Speedway this Saturday night, May 26.  Bring your cameras to the track and get your photo taken with the mighty Raminator.  Kids and adults alike will be thrilled when the 565 cubic inch supercharged Hemi motor fires up, powering Raminator through an absolutely breath taking exhibition.   Also on the racing card will be a special $600 to win event for the Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Amateur & Pro Hornets. Gates will open at 5pm with racing beginning at 7pm.

Raminator is the result of hard work and the determination put forth by the Hall Brothers Racing team.  Hall Brothers Racing is moving into the future with hard work and demanding schedules.  The team is gearing up for an intense display and race season and is looking forward to winning more championships in 2012!  Raminator’s crew chief, Tim Hall is now a two time MTRA “Mechanic of the Year,” while Mark Hall’s number of times winning the “Driver of the Year” award has increased to a record six!  The two brothers’ Raminator has won the coveted “Truck of the Year” six times as well!  Add twelve season point championships to this list and it makes for some pretty impressive stats.

Then, on Memorial Day Monday night May 28, Macon Speedway presents a special NASCAR Night of Stars. The program will feature Riverton, Illinois native Justin Allgaier, Kenny Wallace and Ken Schrader in action as they challenge the Macon Speedway stars in the Billingsley Towing modified division. In addition to the modifieds, the UMP Super Late Models will be in action for a special $2000 to win event that will draw the best of the best. Also racing on Monday are the Street stocks and Amateur & Pro Hornet divisions to add to the fun. Gates will open at 5pm with racing staring at 7pm.

Macon Speedway’s exciting summer schedule features. The action heats up at the track with Caterpillar Employee Night on Saturday June 2nd and really gets hot when Three time NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart will be the Grand Marshall for the second Night of NASCAR Stars at Macon Speedway on Tuesday June 12.
