Maquoketa Speedway Set to Host Iowa Dirt Nationals
Maquoketa, Iowa (Oct 13, 2024) – The Maquoketa Speedway is set to host one final weekend of racing action as Darkside Promotions (Tim Current & Ryan Duhme) will be hosting the Iowa Dirt Nationals at the ¼ mile dirt track located on the Jackson County Fairgrounds.
Thursday, October 17th will be opening night of the three day racing extravaganza with an open practice for all cars getting underway at 6 pm. Five feature events will be run on Thursday night to complete the All Star Classic that was cut short on September 14th due to rain.
The grandstands will have a $5 admission with food and drink specials all night. The first of the five feature events will get underway at 8:30 pm. Modifieds, Sportmods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and 4 Stocks will all run makeup features on Thursday night.
Friday night, October 18th will be night number one of the Iowa Dirt Nationals with grandstands opening at 3 pm, hot laps will be set to get underway at 6pm with racing to follow in the Modified, Stock Car, Sportmod, Hobby Stock, 4 Stock, and A.I.R.S. Classes.
Saturday, October 19 will be the final night of the Iowa Dirt Nationals with grandstand gates opening at 2 pm, hot laps are set to get underway at 5:30 pm.
The Outlaw 2 man Cruisers and INEX Legends will replace the A.I.R.S. Cars with a complete show being run in all other classes that ran on Friday night.
The Iowa Dirt Nationals will bring the very successful Maquoketa Speedway 2024 season to a close.
