“Mr Mopar” Bob Hubert Memorial B-mod Special at RCR Moberly, MO

MOBERLY, MO (August 15, 2013) – Some big money is up for crabs for the B-modifieds on Saturday, August 31st for the “Mr Mopar” Bob Hubert Memorial B-mod Special, With $1,000 going to the feature winner.  This B-mod special has always been slated as something different for the feature format, and so to continue the tradition we have made it even better. Bob’s cars had the #40 so nothing better than to make this a 40 lap event with a twist. This event will be a 3 segment 40 lap feature.

3 segment 40 lap feature:

1st segment:  15 laps, top 5 advance to 3rd segment finale  (top 5 cars impounded)

2nd segment: 15 laps,  Drivers will be allowed to make a chassis change within a few minutes before segment two begins. Top 5 finishers in this segment will advance to 3rd segment finale (top 5 cars impounded).

3rd segment: top 5 cars from 1st and 2nd segment advance to finale. All 10 finalist will be allowed to work on car (brief time frame) before 3rd segment begins on the front stretch. Driver introduction on front stretch and drivers will do a re-draw for starting positions for the last 10 lap shootout to determine the Bob Hubert Memorial B-mod Champion.

Non Qualifiers: $50

 

(American Racer G-60 or Hoosier G-60 tire allowed).

 

Entry fee:  RCR members $50, Non Member $75

Pits will open at 2:00,  Grandstands at 5:00

Drivers meeting at 6:00, Hot laps at 6:30, Racing at 7:00

Ticket prices:
Adults ages 12 and up $15.00
Kids ages 6-11 $10.00
5 and under are free

Pit passes: $30

 

We will have dry camping sites available free of charge (no water or electricity hook ups)

Motels in Moberly are Holiday Inn, Super 8,  Moberly Inn

Motels in Macon MO (22 miles north) are Comfort Inn and Super 8
