Rescheduled Sprint Invader Show this Friday at Davenport

DAVENPORT, Ia. (September 26, 2012) – It’s last call for oval track excitement this Friday, September 28th, at the Davenport Speedway. The rescheduled Sprint Invaders race, which was rained out earlier this month, will be run on the historic half-mile dirt oval. This will be the final race of the 2012 season at the Davenport Speedway.

The event is highlighted by the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders. The 360 cubic inch winged sprint car warriors will compete in the “East/West Clash of the Best”.

Also racing at that event will be IMCA-style late models and 4-Stocks. Both of those classes will be racing for $1,000-to-win prize. All races will be on the half-mile track.

The Davenport Speedway is located at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, on West Locust Street, in Davenport, Iowa.
