Southern Iowa Fair show next for Karl Performance Hawkeye Dirt Tour
OSKALOOSA, Iowa (July 12, 2013) – The Karl Performance Hawkeye Dirt Tour presented by XSAN headlines the big fair program Tuesday, July 16 at Southern Iowa Speedway.
Touring IMCA Xtreme Motor Sports Modifieds run for $1,000 to win and a minimum of $150 to start during the Southern Iowa Fair in Oskaloosa. The feature is a qualifier for this year’s Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.
Also on the card are IMCA Late Models running for $600 to win, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods for $350, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars for $400, and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $250
Pit gates open at 5 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 5:30 p.m. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $12 for adults and $6 for students. Pit passes are $25 for adults, $15 for youth ages 7-13 and $10 for six and under.
Oskaloosa hosts the seventh of 11 events in the 2013 series.
The first six races have resulted in as many different winners, with Cayden Carter, Ryan Ruter, Darin Duffy, Steve Stewart, Jeremy Mills and Jimmy Gustin all ending iheir nights in victory lane.
Drivers who compete in the HDT event will be eligible for a top prize of $1,000 during the weekly Wednesday, July 17 show at Osky.
