Oskaloosa, Iowa: The Musco Lighting Southern Iowa Speedway will extend the regular racing season schedule by two weeks due to all the races lost early in the season. The Race committee made the decision to extend the season to add two Wednesday night programs to allow the drivers to race for points and to increase exposure for the great sponsors who have supported the Southern Iowa Speedway in what has been a very difficult season due to the unsettled weather that has hampered the track during the entire 2019 season.

Wednesday, July 24th will see racing in all five divisions with hot laps getting underway at 7 pm with racing to follow. Wednesday, July 31st will see the season point champions being crowned with the running of the 2019 Season Championships, hot laps will again get underway at 7 pm.

The Southern Iowa Speedway will host the season finale on Friday and Saturday, September, 20th and 21st with the annual Fall Challenge being contested on the super fast ½ mile on the Mahaska County Fairgrounds.
