Southern Iowa Speedway Postpones Frostbuster
OSKALOOSA, IA (March 28, 2013) – Due to new dirt and extremely wet conditions the Southern Iowa Fairboard has been forced to postpone the 2013 IMCA Musco Lighting Frostbuster to Wednesday April 10th. “We can’t even get on the track,” says fairboard president Shawn Van Engelenhoven. “With below freezing temperatures in the forecast for next week we have no choice.”
Wednesday April 10 Bank Iowa Sprint Invaders combined with Supreme Lawn & Landscape Season opener along with the postponed Musso Lighting
Frostbuster will tackle the half mile. The only change will be IMCA Modifieds will be $750 to win $100 to start and a lower entry fee of $25. All other classes will be the same as Frostbuster payout and entries. Track points will start April 10. Sport Compacts will start the their season April 17.
