Sponsorships Increase as Interest Explodes for 2013 World Nationals – $10,000 to Win!

Boone, IA (September 19th, 2013) – 2013 World Nationals Contingencies and Fast Facts, a complete list of contingency sponsors, special awards, and products that are up for grabs this week during the 2013 World Nationals (presented by your local machine shop, engine builder and product manufacturers).

Speedway Illustrated will publish an exclusive story about the winning engine from Saturday night’s A-Modified feature.  They will also extend a one-year advertising contract for use in Speedway Illustrated Magazine, to the “Winning Engine Builder”, an advertising package valued at over $8,500.00 (for advertising use only, no cash value)

Webster City Machine will provide $200.00, to the highest finishing car competing with a non-crate engine during the Saturday night Hobby Stock A Feature.

Smith Engines & Machine will pay $200.00 to the highest non-crate engine finisher in Saturday night’s SportMod A Feature Event.

An Anonymous donor will pay a $200.00 bonus for the “A Modified Longest Tow Award”.

Karl Performance is sponsoring the Saturday night A Modified Feature “Hard Charger Award”, for the driver who advances the most spots from his starting position in the A Feature.

Fagen Racing & Layne Transmissions will pay a $100.00 “Half Way Leader” bonus, to the driver who is leading the Saturday night A Modified Feature, at the half way point.

Mahle Motorsports, Saturday night Stock Car Feature winner, will receive 1 set of Power-Pak Pistons.  Mahle Motorsports will also award the highest finishing non-crate engine in the SportMod Saturday night A Feature with 1 set of Power-Pak Pistons and 1 set of Power-Pak Pistons to the highest finishing non-crate finisher in the Saturday night Hobby Stock A Feature.

And, in addition to all that, Mahle Motorsports will also supply the Saturday night A Modified Feature winner with 1 set of Power-Pak Pistons

RaceQuip Safety Equipment is awarding a pair of SFI Race shoes (3300 series) to the driver who qualifies for the 24th, last, starting position in Saturday night’s A-Modified Feature.

HVH (High Velocity Heads) is giving a way, a Super Sucker spacer to a random finishing spot in Saturday night’s Stock Car and A Modified, A Features.

World Products has a $100.00 Contingency Award for random finishing open motors in all classes during Saturday night’s A Features.

Erson Cams is sponsoring a $100.00 Contingency Award for random finishing open motors in all classes during Saturday night’s A Features.

PBM Performance Products is sponsoring a PBM Timing set to Saturday night A-Modified and Stock Car 3rd place finishers and to Hobby Stock & SportMod highest finishing open motors in the Saturday night A Features.  A pair of PBM valve covers will be given to the 2nd place finishers in both the Saturday night Stock Car and A-Modified Features.

Driven Racing Oils is offering a case of oil to the A-Modified and Stock Car A Feature winners on Saturday and to the highest finishing open motor competitors in the SportMod and Hobby Stock classes, in Saturday night A Features.

Mahle Clevite will award a set of engine rod and main bearings to random finishing positions in Saturday night’s A Modified, Stock Car, SportMod and Hobby Stock, feature classes

Federal Mogul will give a full set of gaskets to the top 4 finishing cars in the Saturday night A-Modified and Stock Car A Feature events.

Edelbrock is supplying a #2701 intake manifold for the Saturday night Stock Car A Feature winner plus a #2925 intake manifold to the A-Modified Feature winner on Saturday night.

EQ Cylinder Heads will present a set of IMCA spec heads to the highest finishing SportMod competing with an open motor for Saturday night’s SportMod A Feature.

In addition to the manufactures awards, the all new “Heartland Auto Racing Show” is sponsoring “Lap Leader” bonuses for all 50 laps in Saturday night’s A Modified Feature.  $10 will be awarded to the driver leading each lap, for a total of $500.00’s in lap leader money.  Promoters of the “Heartland Auto Racing Show” will also provide two free attendee registrations for those drivers who are leading at the half way point during the Saturday night features, for all 5 classes.  For information about the “Heartland Auto Racing Show”, scheduled for November 16 -17, 2013 at the Iowa Events Center – Des Moines, log on to their website at: www.heartlandautoracingshow.com.

The “2013 World Nationals” week kicks off Thursday evening courtesy of Cookies BBQ Sauce with a practice from 6:30 until 9:30.   This will be the only night for hot laps for all competitors.  Music and free food will be provided following the practice.  The racing action will start at 6:30 on both Friday and Saturday with a complete show for I.M.C.A. Hobby Stocks, I.M.C.A. SportMods, and I.M.C.A. Stock Cars.  The Modifieds will follow I.M.C.A. rules but are non-sanctioned for this event.  All Modifieds must run built engines, no crate engines allowed.  The Modifieds will qualify courtesy of two heat races for all competitors on Friday with last chance events on Saturday.  For further information, please check out http://www.marshalltownspeedway.com/ or call the speedway office at 515.432.4703.
