Sunoco ALMS Series Easter Sunday Special at Quincy
QUINCY, IL (April 16, 2014) – Easter Sunday April 20th will feature on of the highlights of our Spring Schedule at Quincy Raceways and will hopefully mark the first full night of racing. The Sunoco American Late Model Series will be in action chasing a $2,000 to win top prize. Many of the Midwest’s best late model drivers to battle against Quincy’s stout group of Kickstart Late Model drivers. Some of the drivers that have indicated interest in coming to Quincy are Ryan Unzicker, Bobby Pierce, Dennis Erb, Kevin Weaver and Jason Riggs to name just a few are expected to be in attendance to take on the Quincy regulars including Denny Woodworth, Mark Burgtorf, Jason Perry, Justin Reed and Clint Kirkham.
Also in action will be Miller Lite UMP Modifieds, Summy Tire IMCA SportMods, Powder Coat Plus IMCA Stock Cars and the IMCA Sport Compacts as the points battle begin their season.
Grandstand admission for this special event is $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for students aged 11-16 with children 10 and under Free. The Grandstands will open at 4:00pm, the Pit Gates at 3:00pm, with Hot Laps at 5:15 and racing at 6:00pm.
Tickets and pit passes from last Sunday’s, April 13 rainout will be honored for credit against admission.
