Two BIG Events at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds this Weekend!

WHEATLAND, MO (January 2, 2012) – Come visit the Lucas Oil Speedway booth at the 26th Annual Ozarks Area Racers Reunion. Lucas Oil proudly supports the efforts of the Ozarks Area Racers Association and congratulates this years inductees. Saturday, January 5th, 2012, several honoree’s will be enshrined. The Legends award recipients: Bobby Menzies, Derral Holt, Ron Gelsheimer, and Freddy Fryar. The Pioneer Award will honor: Chris Passantino, Butch Beck, Corky Felker and Jerry Mallonee. In addition all area Track Champions will be honored including 2012 Lucas Oil Speedway Champs; Jeremy Kelly, Jason Russell, Marc Carter and Kris Jackson.
 
Tickets are available at ALL O’Reilly Auto Parts Stores, Ron’s Racing Collectibles (Springfield, Mo.), Greene County Damaged Freight and Food Sales (Springfield, Mo.) Friday and Saturday January 4th and 5th the American Arenacross Series presented by Lucas Oil, Springfield Yamaha, KTM and Youngblood Auto Group is returning to Springfield’s Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. Rounds 5 and 6 of a 10 race series will wow fans with spectacular on track action!    
 
Plus there will be a cool freestyle show with Terry Russel from United FMX, and Brett Que in his bid to make the X Games Best Whip competition this year.
 
Fans can register to win a free BMX bike that will be given away each night and watch the Pro’s do battle for over $3500 in pro Purse money per night and kids come ready for the traditional “Kids foot race”.

Practice starts at 4:00 PM on Friday, January 4th and 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 5th. Spectator gates open at 6 PM.

Tickets are: Advance: Kids 3-11 $7 and Adults $14
Gate: Kids 3-11 $9 and Adults $16
