 Two IMCA Modified features headline Beatrice October Fest special 

BEATRICE, Neb. (Oct. 1) – IMCA Modified features are on race programs for both nights of this weekend’s October Fest special at Beatrice Speedway. 

Both Friday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 6 main events pay $1,500 to win, a minimum of $125 to qualify and are qualifying races for the 2013 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.

IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods race for $500 to win and IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks for $300 to win each night. Friday’s Mach-1 Sport Compact feature pays $150 to win. 

Gates open at 4 p.m., hot laps are at 6 p.m. and racing starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday, with hot laps at 5:30 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m. 

Pit passes are $25 each day. Grandstand admission is $14 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under.
