WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (Sept. 1) – The 400th event in Deery Brothers Summer Series history will have to wait another day.
More than an inch of rain fell overnight in the West Burlington area, forcing postponement of Saturday evening’s Deery Series Pepsi USA Nationals event for IMCA Late Models at 34 Raceway.

The $5,000 to win Pepsi will now be held Sunday, Sept. 2. Pit gates open at 2 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4 p.m.
The drivers’ meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m., with hot laps and racing to follow.
From West Burlington, the Deery Series travels to Boone Speedway to headline opening night of the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals on Monday, Sept. 3.
