Winners Circle Championship Night at I-35 Speedway!!!

WINSTON, MO (Oct. 29, 2016) – Kicking off the night of great racing action Pure Stock would set the stage and take to the track first. Conner Masoner #47x would take the early lead until Cody King #29 would charge past and pace the field. King would lead the majority of the feature until a late race caution would bunch the field of competitors.  As the green would fly, contact with from another competitor would cause King to tag to the rear. Bud Wallis #74 would take the point only to see heat race winner Kyle Rowland #5 charge by and claim the win. Rowland would start last on the field and overcome all obstacles parking it in McCarthy Auto Group Winners Circle. King would recover to place a close second with the always fast Anthony Persell #87 third. Other heat race winner Beau Wells #555 would post a solid fourth place showing with Jimmy Smith #03 rounding out the nights top five. I-35 Speedway Pure Stock Track Champion 2016 is Carson Masoner #20x.

“Just a Rolling” Kyle Rowland #5 Pure Stock Feature Winner!

E-Modified would see the battle of the Boller Posse as heat race winner Randy Smith Jr #20x would take the lead and set a blistering pace on the smooth fast 3/8ths mile of dirt. Smith would see his lead start to fade as the race progressed as Josh Munsen #19x would close the distance. Munsen would make the move on the inside and take the top spot and the win seeing the checkers first. Smith would end the night second with the ever improving Jorden Dawson #J90 a very fast and impressive third place. Fourth place would belong to George Burnett #23 with other heat race winner and Hard Charger Jim Masoner Jr fifth place on the night. I-35 Speedway E-Modified Track Champion 2016 goes to Matt Dorssom #3D.

“Magic Man” Josh Munsen #19x E-Modified Feature Winner!

Chargers would see heat race winner Buz Kaster #54 take the front early battling David Blocker #24b until Tim Shields #42t would work the inside to perfection taking the top spot. Shields would not be denied winning both the feature and the Hard Charger landing in McCarthy Auto Group Winners Circle. Kaster would finish Second with Blocker third. Houston Johnson #97 would end the night fourth with Mich Ross #98m fifth. I-35 Speedway Charger Track Champion 2016 goes to Houston Johnson #97.

“The Dark Knight” Tim Shields #42t Charger Feature Winner!

Sport compact would see a good night for the ½ racing team as John  Willard #1/2cr would pick up the feature win as Steven Bunton #1/2b would place second. Rocky Rhodes #8 would battle through the pack to place third with Shawn Box #21 fourth and Robert Razo #45c fifth on the night. I-35 Speedway Sport Compact Track Champion 2016 goes to Steven Bunton #1/2b.

 

“Bearded Wonder” John Willard #1/2cr Sport Compact Feature Winner!

USRA B-Modifieds would not disappoint as the two heat race winners would battle it out for the front. Randy Ainsworth #57 and Ed Noll #15 would go door to door with the 11s of Steve Starmer also in the mix for the lead. Ainsworth would not be denied and lead every lap on his to the feature win. Noll would hold off the hard challenge of Starmer to place second leaving Starmer to third on the night. Johnny McGinnis #10 would claim his spot up front placing fourth with Jeremy Pittsenbarger #32p ending the night fifth. I-35 Speedway USRA B-Modified Track Champion 2016 goes to Steve Starmer #11s.

 

Randy Ainsworth #57 USRA B-Modified Feature Winner!

USRA Stock Cars would see a new face but familiar face in McCarthy Auto Group Winners Circle on this night of racing action. Mich Ross #14x would charge to the front of the field and never look back on his way to his first USRA Stock Car victory of the 2016 racing season. Jason Estes #997 would try Ross both high and low to no avail and have to settle for second place on this night. Heat race winner Jon Boller Jr #20x would end the feature third with Ronnie Ishmael #23i forth and Jim Peeler #292 fifth. I-35 Speedway USRA Stock Car Track Champion 2016 belongs to Jason Estes #997.

 

Mich Ross #14x USRA Stock Car Feature Winner!

As is always the case at I-35 Speedway USRA Modifieds would see a locked and loaded field of competitors doing battle. Dennis Elliott #29 would take the early lead working the inside to perfection holding off the challenges of the other greats until Chad Lyle #96 would charge by on the outside and on to the win. After a long and great career Chad Lyle has decided to hang up the helmet and what a way to end as he would win both his heat race and the feature in his final race. Elliott would go on to place second with Darron Fuqua #87 racing his way to third. The always fast Aaron Marrant #70 would finish fourth with Jessy Willard #40 another impressive fifth place showing. I-35 Speedway USRA Modified Track Champion 2016 goes to Dennis Elliott #29.
